ShadowGram (SG) announces the following breaking news for Dark Shadows (DS). 

*  DAVID SELBY (Quentin) asks SG to announce: "He is going to be doing the 
musical "Mame" with Amanda McBroom from November 1st through November 10th in 
Thousand Oaks, Calif.  "Mame" is being presented by the Cabrillo Music 
Theatre.  Ticket prices are $15 - $35.  For ticket information and 
directions, call (805) 449-2787.  To purchase tickets, call Ticketmaster at 
(805) 823-8700." 

* Producer Nancy Kersey tells SG: JONATHAN FRID (Barnabas) "has added a 
recent photo of himself and audio material to his website, along with the 
promise of offering a chance to give feedback about his site in the near

* VERONICA LAUREN (1991 DS' Sarah) has had the recurring role of "Cynthia" on 
the daytime series "Days of Our Lives." She's now "on contract" and the 
character is seen as a university freshman.

* REBECCA STAAB (1991 DS' Daphne) joins the daytime series "Port Charles" 
late this month. She plays "Elizabeth," mother of an heiress, in a story 
about an unusual rock band.
 
* Dan Curtis Productions (DCP) asks SG to report: The Dark Shadows DVD 
Collection 3 "has been delayed until Oct. 29."

DVD Collection 4 "should be out in late January with subsequent releases 
expected every other month."

Contents of Collection 3 were noted in SG Online Update #82 last month. The 
upcoming postal-mail SG #97, subsequent print issue SGs, and this Online 
Updates List will report more confirmed details from DCP and MPI. 

The issue also will update all the DS news, including the 2003 DS Festival 
convention in NYC. It will feature details and guest pictures from the June, 
2002, DS Festival convention in Anaheim, Calif.
