Following are some key highlights, plus much more: * A special photo memorial to DENNIS PATRICK (Jason McGuire, Paul Stoddard, "House of DS'" Sheriff Patterson) after his tragic Oct. 13 death (reported in Update #85). The print issue includes Los Angeles-area news media obituaries and reports. --- This SG Online Updates List adds: "Dennis' ashes were scattered at sea" and "the family requests that donations to honor the memory of Dennis Patrick be made to the Actor's Fund." (The Actors' Fund of America, 5757 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 400, Los Angeles, CA 90036.) * To honor the memory of KEENE CURTIS (Voice of Judah Zachary), who died Oct. 13 at a retirement home near Salt Lake City after battling Alzheimer's disease, SG #97 has pictures and a major newspaper obituary. His family indicates memorial donations can be made to the Keene H. Curtis Charitable Foundation, which supports scholarships at the University of Utah Theater Dept., c/o Joal Curtis, 4720 N. Porsche Way, Boise, ID 83713. * SG Premiere Announcements from Dan Curtis Productions (DCP): --- DS will continue on Sci Fi Channel (SFC) through 2003. --- DS' timeslot on SFC will change on Mon., Jan. 6. Beginning on that date, the weekday (Mon.-Fri.) back-to-back episodes air 8:00-9:00 am (Eastern/Pacific). --- DS episodes will be pre-empted the following dates due to special SFC holiday movie marathons. There will be NO DS the weeks of: 11/25-29; 12/2-12/6; and 12/9-12/13. (DS is pre-empted for 3 straight weeks.) Also: 12/23-12-27, plus 12-30, 12-31, 1-1, and probably the rest of that week. --- DVD Collection 3 is available now. Set 4 has a tentative Feb. 25 release. It will include the early 1795 episodes and bonus interviews with Dick Smith (old Barnabas make-up), producer Robert Costello, writer Sam Hall, and Lara Parker (Angelique). Set 5 should come in April and Set 6 anticipates a June release. "It is possible that the releases may be moved up to every month thereafter."
