November 22, 2002. ******************************************************************* Hello, Dark Shadows Fan, ShadowGram (SG) announces the following breaking news for Dark Shadows (DS). * A public memorial for DENNIS PATRICK will be held on Sun., Dec. 15, at 12:00 noon at Theatre West, 3333 Cahuenga Blvd. West, Hollywood, CA. Dennis died tragically in a fire in his Hollywood Hills home Oct. 13. He was 84 and his career spanned almost 50 years of film, TV, and stage roles, among them his portrayals of "Jason McGuire" and "Paul Stoddard" on DS and "Vaughn Leland" on Dallas. SG Online Updates #85-86 and the current SG #97 print issue honored his memory. Additional pictures from his career and his appearances at the DS Festivals, plus more media obituaries, will be in the next SG #98 print issue. * NEWS FLASH! NEW DATES FOR THE 2003 FESTIVAL The 2003 DARK SHADOWS FESTIVAL, celebrating the fan convention's 20th Anniversary, now will be held Aug. 29, 30 and 31 (Labor Day weekend), still at the Brooklyn Marriott Hotel. The previously-announced date of Aug. 8-10 has been cancelled. Anyone who made hotel room reservations for the old dates must contact the hotel * as soon as possible * to change to the new dates. The same reduced room rate will apply for the new dates.
